Dr. Charles Stone is a board-certified doctor of internal medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 1995 and completed his residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Leslie Ann Banks, ARNP, AGNP-C

Leslie Ann Banks, ARNP, AGNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at HealthStone Primary Care Partners, located in Hollywood, FL. She has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2021. Leslie began her nursing career in 2011 as a nurse working in long-term care and sub-acute settings. This is where she found her passion for working with the elderly community to provide the most optimal care needed. She pursued her Bachelor of Science Degree at Florida International University in 2016 and then continued at Florida International University to complete her Master of Science Degree in 2021. Leslie is currently finishing up her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Florida International University.

In her spare time, Leslie enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new places.

Carolina DeVarona, ARNP

Carolina de Varona, DNP, AGPCNP-BC has been practicing as a board certified nurse practitioner since 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She worked as a nurse in the hospital setting for four years before joining Health Stone Primary Care Partners, as a nurse practitioner, in 2015. After two years of working as a nurse practitioner, Carolina aspired to earn a doctorate degree in nursing. In 2018, she persevered and earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Carolina was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She enjoys the ocean, exercise, and spending time with her family and dogs. She is dedicated in providing high quality healthcare and enjoys her day to day interaction with her patients.

Jensy Kurien, ARNP

Jensy Kurien, ARNP, FNP-C has been practicing as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2015. After earning her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2008 from the University of Texas at Arlington, she started her career at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.  During her six year tenure there, she served as a Registered Nurse in the medical intensive care unit.

Jensy has been with Internal Medicine Specialty Associates since 2015, after graduating with her Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2014.  As a nurse practitioner, she works her hardest daily to give each patient the compassion they deserve, the time they need to address their concerns, as well as influence positive outcomes in each patient’s care.

In her spare time she likes playing and watching sports, traveling, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Kevin Lara, ARNP

Kevin Lara, MSN, FNP-BC has been practicing as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2017. He obtained his Bachelors in Nursing in 2011 from Nova Southeastern University. He was a Critical care nurse since 2011 at Baptist and Hialeah Hospitals providing care for a diverse patient population.  He completed his Master in Nursing at South University.  He joined Healthstone Primary Care upon completion where he is dedicated in providing high quality care to his patients. He approaches his work very focused with dedication and determination in the treatment of patients and their families.  During his free time he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children and traveling.

Vanessa Arias

Daphia Collins, APRN, AGPCNP-BC

Daphia Collins, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at HealthStone Primary Care Partners, located in Hollywood, Fl. She has been practicing as a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner since 2020. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2015 and a Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2018 from Florida International University.
She began her career as a registered nurse 11 years ago, providing care to adult and gerontology patients in long-term care and sub-acute care settings before transitioning to the hospital acute inpatient rehabilitation in the Memorial HealthCare System.

She is passionate about the adult and gerontology population and understands the importance of providing comprehensive, patient and family-centered care.

Daphia was also an adjunct clinical faculty at Nova Southeastern University for undergraduate BSN-nursing students in 2019 and was instrumental in training new nurses on the philosophy of what it means to be a registered nurse. In addition, she also served as a preceptor and mentor for nurse practitioner students during the two years she worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University Miami of Miami/Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Hospital.

Daphia loves to learn and never misses the opportunity to learn something new. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children in her free time, traveling, listening to music, and playing board games.
